My journey from doubt to delight

The breakfast was surprisingly delicious! ! Super fresh with various options that exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and the staff were welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere for my stay.

Unfortunately, the hallways had a lingering odor, and there were visible cleanliness issues in some areas, hinting at a lack of thorough upkeep in the property.

Good stay for a couple retreat

The room was spacious, bathroom clean and good facility for a small town hotel I must admit. And the breakfast included hot options that were surprisingly good, especially the sausage links.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable.

The spacious lobby creates an inviting atmosphere, where you feel at home and can relax without the rush. The availability of several reasonably priced restaurants nearby makes dining options pretty convenient for weary travelers.

I had a major hiccup with the reservation process, having to contact a third party instead of the hotel directly, which led to a random international call charge. The room felt a tad outdated, lacking some reachably placed outlets, and the towel rack had some rust. it gave off a vibe of needing a bit of TLC. Plus, the noise from the adjacent rooms was noticeable, especially when their shower was running, making it less ideal for relaxation.

Awkward Moments at the Pool

The hotel offered a unique smoking room, which was a nice touch for us as frequent smokers. It made us feel right at home!

Unfortunately, we faced harsh treatment from staff regarding pool access for our visiting family, making a sad end to our trip.

I found the hotel's decor to be charming and inviting, with easy access for seniors. The spacious lobby made it feel like a delightful gathering place where I could relax without feeling rushed.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel while exploring the nearby Parker Dam State Park. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, perfect for our family of five, including our grandchild. The complimentary breakfast was a hit, especially the fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon.

In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if there were more activities for kids.

I had a great time. The breakfast spread was impressive! I loved the clean, spacious room with comfy beds. The pool needed a little more attention, though.

Home Away from Home

During my long-term stay, I felt like I had found a home away from home. The staff was remarkably kind and attentive, always ready to assist. The location off the interstate was perfect, making travel very convenient, and I loved that there was a bar and restaurant right across the street for easy dining. However, I think they could enhance the breakfast offerings with some healthier options.

Best Western Plus in Clearfield proved to be an excellent choice for my business trip. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The staff provided outstanding service, promptly addressing any needs that arose during my stay. The breakfast selection was impressive, featuring a variety of options that helped kickstart my day effectively.

The Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent at times.

The pool was refreshing, the gym had great equipment, and the landscaping around the hotel was well-kept. We felt very welcome during our stay.

I had a great stay at the Best Western Plus in Clearfield. The location is really convenient, close to the Quehanna Wildlife Area and Stephenson Dam, which made my trip even better. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I called to book my room. My room was clean, and I really appreciated the absence of pet odors, even though I brought my two dogs along. The dual Queen beds were super comfortable, and fresh linens made it feel even nicer. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering everything from bacon and sausage to pancakes and biscuits with gravy — I was impressed! There were plenty of options to fuel up for the day. However, I did find the parking lot layout a bit awkward, especially if you have larger vehicles. Also, the fitness room had decent equipment, but some public restrooms near this area were out of order. It was inconvenient when I needed to use the facilities post-workout. If they could improve the coffee service in the breakfast room and ensure all restrooms are functional, that would make this place even better.

The place had clean rooms and a friendly staff. Breakfast options included unique items like a pancake maker. The toilet seat in our room was broken, a bit annoying. Overall, a decent stay but could use some maintenance updates.

The smoking room felt like home, but the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The decor was dated, and the service didn't meet our expectations.
